Back when Kyu was added to SJ Teukie was quoted saying he would help ELF to “Protect Super Junior as 13 members”, later Only 13 fans called it his “Promise”. When the Only 13 stuff started later with Henry Teukie wrote, “I know as leader I should keep my word, but I’m tired of that promise”.
On stage when SJ came out to win awards for Don’t Don Teukie stood next to Henry to make sure he was on camera. Henry even said on Strong Heart that Teukie was really nice to him when he first joined with SJ (to the degree where Henry thought he was gay).
When ZhouMi did his show “Korean Impression”, in the first episode, you see ZhouMi stop mid-sentence and gasp, pointing and bouncing all excited at the hair salon. Then he runs over and gives Teukie and Eunhyuk hugs (they had just walked in).
When Henry and ZhouMi were introduced as “Super Junior” during the Dream Concert back in SuperGirl days Teukie had them stand in the middle of the group, not at the end, right next to him.
If you watch the Behind the Scenes for Super Show 2 they never show Henry and ZhouMi, the two are out of shot the whole time. When Super Junior does the hands-in cheer before they go on stage he actually STOPPED them and yelled “Where are Henry and ZhouMi??? Henry?! ZhouMi?! Come here~!” until they walked into the shot and put their hands in too.
Finally, Henry and ZhouMi live with Super Junior (ZhouMi bunks with Yesung and Ryeowook, Henry didn’t reveal who he lives with, but he’s on Heechul’s floor) and Teukie writes songs with Henry (they wrote another for the 5th album!!!).^_^ The leader protects ALL of Super Junior ^_^
